Flights to Tulum: Budget Guide
Tulum is Mexico's most expensive beach town — the zona hotelera will drain your wallet at $55–70/day. But the pueblo side, a 10-minute bike ride inland, cuts that by 40%. Know which Tulum you're going to.

The zona hotelera runs $55–70/day; the pueblo runs $35–45/day. The hack: rent a bike for $5/day and commute to the beach from the pueblo. You'll eat better tacos on the pueblo side anyway. More in our budget beaches Mexico guide.
